Frosts in October: forecaster warned about a sharp cold snap in Ukraine.


Ukrainians are warned about a cold snap and frosts expected in the coming days. Forecaster Natalka Didenko reports that already the upcoming night in the western regions of Ukraine will see 0-3 degrees of frost.
"Next week, according to preliminary forecasts, frosts are likely in the western, northern and central regions on October 17, 18, and 19," Didenko noted.
On October 13, unstable weather is expected across the country. On the Right Bank, it will be mostly dry with fogs that may reduce visibility to 300-500 meters. On the Left Bank, rain is expected, sometimes heavy and with thunderstorms. In the evening, rain is also expected in Rivne and Lviv regions.
The forecaster warns about strong wind gusts up to 15-20 meters per second in the eastern regions and the Azov Sea area.
Nighttime air temperature in western Ukraine will be 0-3 degrees, in the rest of the territory +5+12 degrees. During the day, +12+17 degrees is expected, but in Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, and part of Dnipropetrovsk regions, only +9+13 degrees.
In Kyiv, on October 13, relatively warm weather will prevail: nighttime +8+10 degrees, daytime +12+14 degrees, without significant precipitation. However, Didenko warns about possible frosts in Kyiv region on October 17-18.
The forecaster encourages Ukrainians to prepare for the cold, particularly to ensure warm clothing and protect balcony flowers.
