In Ukraine, the rules for obtaining social assistance have been changed: how to get it now.

It will be easier for Ukrainians to obtain social assistance, the Ministry of Social Policy announced. The new resolution will reduce the number of paper documents that need to be submitted to receive payments and assistance. Now, the information already in the Unified Information System of Social Insurance (UISSI) will be used automatically. This means that people will no longer need to independently confirm their data or provide paper documents.
Using digital technologies, social protection workers will receive the necessary information. However, if the user's data is not in the database, they will still have to present the necessary documents themselves. Previously, millions of applications were processed manually, and citizens often had to stand in line to collect the entire package of documents.
These innovations will save Time and speed up the application review process, as well as reduce corruption risks. All of this is an important step for developing the social protection system, which will better meet the needs of citizens.
It is also reminded that Ukrainians can now receive financial assistance under the new NRC program.
