In Ukraine, the compensation program for arranging workplaces for veterans with disabilities has been expanded.

The government of Ukraine has decided to expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Under the new amendments, employers can now receive compensation for arranging workplaces for veteran employees with disabilities returning to their jobs. Additionally, self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs with disabilities can now also receive compensation. The list of equipment eligible for compensation has also been expanded. The application deadline for arranging an inclusive workplace has been extended from 90 to 180 days from the moment of employment of a person with a disability or the return of a veteran to the workplace or arranging a workplace for themselves.
To receive compensation, the employer, individual entrepreneur, and self-employed person must complete several steps. First, they need to log in to the Diia portal, fill out an application, provide information about the person with a disability and the arranged workplace, attach the necessary documents, and specify the IBAN of their account. The application must be signed with an electronic signature. In addition, compensation can be arranged offline at regional employment centers.
