Ukrzaliznitsia made an encouraging statement after the cyberattack.

Ukrzaliznitsia resumes operations after the cyberattack
As of the evening of March 24, Ukrzaliznitsia continues to restore its key systems. The company is carefully checking and identifying possible vulnerabilities in backup systems. The main ticket sales system withstood the attack and continues to operate as usual.
Representatives of Ukrzaliznitsia reported that ticket offices, stations, and train crews are operating with maximum readiness during peak evening hours. Ticket sales for trains are being conducted only for the next two days, which allows for queue management and prioritization of tickets for military personnel and passengers with urgent travel needs. Lines at the largest stations have been reduced to 10-15 minutes.
Ukrzaliznitsia also explained the ticket refund procedure for the current day. Applicants need to send a scanned copy or photo of the ticket and a contact phone number to the specified email.
Ukrzaliznitsia apologizes to everyone who was affected by the cyberattack and states that it is doing everything possible to mitigate its impact. It is worth noting that on March 23, there were huge queues at ticket offices across Ukraine.
It was previously reported that due to a technical failure in Ukrzaliznitsia's IT system, online services were not operational. Later, it became known that the company's systems had been subjected to a large-scale cyberattack. Ukrzaliznitsia specialists are collaborating with the cyber department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
