Ukraine reduced the import of used cars.
According to Ukravtoprom, in January 2025, 14 thousand used passenger cars were delivered to the country, which is 16% less than in January last year.
The structure of imports looks like this:
- Gasoline cars - 46.6%
- Diesel cars - 24.4%
- Electric cars - 20.5%
- Hybrid models - 4.5%
- Gas-equipped vehicles (GBO) - 4%.
The average age category of these cars is 10 years. The most popular model among them is the Volkswagen Golf.
The top 10 most popular car models in the last month:
- VW Golf - 714 units;
- Skoda Octavia - 543 units;
- Renault Megane - 527 units;
- VW Tiguan - 407 units;
- Audi Q5 - 395 units;
- VW Passat - 359 units;
- Nissan Leaf - 355 units;
- Tesla Model Y - 341 units;
- Nissan Rogue - 322 units;
- Tesla Model 3 - 312 units.
Experts also revealed the reason why it is impossible to get a loan in Ukraine to buy a new car.
