Ukrainians explained why they should avoid shopping on Temu: main problems.

Ukrainians are warned about the risks of shopping on the Temu platform. Recently, this platform has attracted Ukrainian consumers with its favorable prices and wide range of products. However, behind this facade lie certain problems that both experts and ordinary buyers are warning about.
Privacy Issues
One of the main concerns is related to the protection of personal data. Temu has already faced several lawsuits in America, which state that the platform does not provide a sufficient level of security and allows compromising client financial information.
Moreover, Temu may obtain information from other third-party tools that you use, even with your permission. It is worth remembering that no platform can guarantee complete privacy, so everyone must independently assess their level of risk.
Fraud on Temu
Although the platform itself is not fraudulent, users need to be cautious due to the possibility of fraud on the site. Buyers may encounter ads for products that do not actually exist or purchase low-quality items. Temu also features counterfeit electronics that break down quickly after a few uses.
Excessive Consumption
It is difficult to enter a platform like Temu and buy just one item. Most buyers fall prey to temptation and end up buying many unnecessary things that are used only a few times and then either take up space or are thrown away.
Illusion of Cheapness
Despite attractive low prices, this apparent benefit often turns into disappointment. Even if the cost of a product is initially low, its likelihood of breaking quickly turns the purchase into a waste of money. Additionally, Temu users often spend significant amounts on unnecessary items and are forced to frequently replace low-quality goods with new ones.
Earlier, it was reported that the Trump administration looks at Shein and Temu with suspicion.
