US Senator refused to drive Tesla after dispute with Musk over Ukraine.

Astronaut and American Democratic senator Mark Kelly decided to stop using his Tesla after industrial magnate Elon Musk called him a traitor due to his visit to Ukraine. Kelly stated this in a video on his Facebook page, reports 'Glavcom'.
The news spread after the senator announced that he would be using a Chevrolet Tahoe instead of his Tesla, which he calls 'the car of a fool', which turned out to be Musk. Kelly said he purchased the Tesla not intending to make it a political issue, but recent events convinced him that Musk and Donald Trump are harming the country. He also noted that he does not want to support the activities of the Government Efficiency Department led by Musk.
Later, the senator explained that he refused Tesla due to Musk’s 'billboard mode' that has become a tool for Trump. Kelly believes Musk is destroying the lives of ordinary people just to secure massive tax breaks for himself and other billionaires.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump expressed his support for Elon Musk by showcasing a new Tesla Model S in the White House yard.
This decision by Mark Kelly has already reflected on Tesla's stock, which lost 15% of its value in one day, the largest drop in the last four years. Analysts attribute this decline to lowered Tesla delivery forecasts and growing negative reactions to Musk's political stance.
The drop in Tesla's shares has also led to an overall decline in the tech sector stock market. The total capitalization of companies included in the NASDAQ 100 index decreased by $1 trillion. This happened after the US President refused to mitigate recession risks due to the imposition of import tariffs.
