Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned about possible provocations by Russia on May 9. He made this statement during a press conference with Czech President Petr Pavel.

Zelensky noted that Russia is talking about a ceasefire, but in recent months there have been over 200 assaults, which is a record. He believes that Russia may plan provocations on Victory Day.

The president also stated that Putin wants to showcase his military strength at the parade, but he should think about ending the war.

Zelensky reported that, at the Czech initiative, Ukraine could receive up to 1.8 million shells, which would help reduce Russia's artillery advantage to a ratio of 1:2. The topic of joint training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16s was also discussed.
