In Prague, a meeting took place between the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, where the continuation of defense, political, and humanitarian support for Ukraine was discussed. The meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries. Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Czech people for their support in wartime and showed interest in collaboration with Czech defense companies. The initiative to create a Ukrainian-Czech F-16 school for training pilots was also discussed. The main topic of conversation also concerned increasing pressure on the Russian Federation and strengthening sanctions against it.

Czech President Petr Pavel stated that he supports Ukraine in its aspirations, including accession to the EU and rebuilding after the war. He also confirmed his support for the initiative to purchase artillery shells for Ukraine. It was also agreed to continue the program for purchasing large-caliber ammunition for Ukraine in cooperation with Denmark and the Netherlands.

Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the Czech Republic would help restore Ukrainian medical facilities, which are a priority for Ukraine. Tomorrow, a conference organized by the First Ladies of Ukraine and the Czech Republic will take place regarding health care initiatives.
