The President of the Association of Real Estate Specialists (realtors) of Ukraine, Olena Haidamaka, has announced changes to the state program 'Yeoselya'. In a program initiated by the president, it is now possible to purchase any real estate that is no more than 3 years old. The program provides loans at low interest rates for those over 18 years old. However, according to Haidamaka, potential buyers are not rushing to invest in such apartments, loans for which are provided by the state. The number of transactions under the program has decreased tenfold. The President of the Association of Realtors of Ukraine, Olena Haidamaka, called this program 'sunk'. According to the National Bank, lending under the 'Yeoselya' program has slowed down. The program operator - the 'Ukrfinzhytlo' company - has changed the terms of loan provision, and the number of accredited developers has also changed. The company has also faced a lack of funds. The 'Yeoselya' program operates in two directions: for a limited group of people with low rates and for all Ukrainians with standard rates.
One of the main requirements of the 'Yeoselya' program is the age of the housing - no more than 10 years. This applies to housing located in certain regions of Ukraine. The latest changes in the program allow young people to obtain a mortgage with an initial payment of 10%.
