The first semifinal of Eurovision, Russia launched drones: the main events of the night.


The first semifinal of the 69th Eurovision contest took place in Basel, Switzerland. 18 countries participated, including Ukraine. Based on the performances, 10 participants advanced to the final, including our representative.
To the final, which will take place on May 17, Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal, and Ukraine have made it. Soon the results of the second semifinal will be known, which will determine the last 10 finalists.
Polish carriers have stopped blocking the border
Protesting drivers in Poland have stopped blocking the crossing point at the border with Ukraine at 22:30 Kyiv Time.
Representatives of the Polish border service reported that truck processing has resumed in both directions under normal conditions.
Powerful earthquake in Greece
A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 occurred on the island of Crete, with tremors felt even in Egypt. Fortunately, no casualties or serious damage have been reported. Such natural phenomena remind us of the unpredictability of nature.
