The Russian Federation announced the capture of a village on the border with Dnipropetrovsk: what the Armed Forces say.


The Russians captured the village of Kotlyarivka in the Donetsk region
On Monday, May 12, the Russians reported the capture of the village of Kotlyarivka in the Donetsk region, which is located near the border with Dnipropetrovsk. The press secretary of the 'Khortytsia' group, Viktor Trehubov, confirmed this information, stating that fighting is currently ongoing there.
The DeepState analytical center stated that Russian troops already occupied part of the village on May 5, and since then the front line in this area has remained unchanged. It was noted that Kotlyarivka is only 3.5 km from the line of contact and is the closest to the border with Dniprovsk region. Compared to previous months, when the front line was at a distance of 4.6 km from this village.
The Russian invaders carried out 45 airstrikes and 79 guided air bombs, used 1140 kamikaze drones, and conducted 3987 shelling of military positions and settlements
Currently, the 1175th day of the war is ongoing, and defensive forces continue to act to stop the advance of Russian troops and deplete their potential. The situation remains tense, and the number of combat clashes is increasing by the hour.
