Pensions, subsidies, the thousand of Zelensky and restrictions on transfers: what changes Ukrainians will face in February.

In February, some changes regarding pensions, restrictions on bank transfers, and new payments will take place in Ukraine. Currently, pensioners will not receive a recalculation of their pensions in February. However, the amount of the March indexation will be determined later, possibly due to higher actual inflation. The formula for calculating pensions takes into account inflation and wage growth.
However, starting from January 29, subsidies for housing rent for internally displaced persons have been introduced in Ukraine. They can be obtained through the service centers of the Pension Fund or online using the Diia mobile application, partner banks, or Ukrposhta. If someone wants to receive a thousand hryvnias from President Zelensky, they need to submit documents by February 28. Payments are also made through the Diia mobile application, partner banks, and Ukrposhta.
From February 1, new restrictions on bank transfers from card to card come into effect. For most Ukrainians, the maximum transfer amount will be 150 thousand hryvnias per month, while for clients with a high-risk level, this amount decreases to 50 thousand hryvnias. These rules are established in the Memorandum signed by the National Bank of Ukraine, banking associations, and banks.
