Drunk railway security guards fell asleep on the train. Reaction of «Ukrzaliznytsia».

A train passenger recorded on video the drunk and beaten employees of «Ukrzaliznytsia's» «Departmental Railway Security» who were sleeping in the conductor's compartment. The footage was published by the mass media «Varta1».

It is noted that when the passenger entered the carriage, he saw the drunk and beaten employees of the railway security. The Carpathian police were called to the scene, and during the train's stop in Stryi, the guards were removed from the train.

«Ukrzaliznytsia» has already reacted to this incident. The company stated that the employees of the «Departmental Railway Security» branch who were involved in the «shameful incident» on train No. 43/44 «Cherkasy - Ivano-Frankivsk», will be immediately dismissed.

Currently, «Ukrzaliznytsia» is conducting an internal investigation of this incident, and the employees have been sent for a medical examination.

«Ukrzaliznytsia apologizes and emphasizes that such behavior is unacceptable for any industry employee. All involved will be held accountable», - the statement said.

Let us remind you that from June 30, 2023, passenger trains have been accompanied by railway security. Two railway security employees must be present on the train during the journey, patrolling the carriages and ensuring constant order control.
