Ukrainian troops have stated that a bridge over the Seim River near the village of Hlushkove in the Kursk region has been destroyed. This information was published in Russian Telegram channels.
It is noted that this bridge is the most important logistic artery in the region.
According to the Russians, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired several American Himars missiles at the bridge.
Propaganda operators also claim that two Mlrs family ammunition rounds flew towards the bridge, one of which hit a car carrying Russian volunteers.
After the latest strike, which occurred around 17:00 Kiev Time, part of the Glushkivsky district, including the villages of Tyotkino, Popovo-Lezhachi and Wolfino, as well as about 27 other settlements, are now cut off.
It is known that the bridge was the most important logistic artery for the Russian troops in the area. Russian military journalists fear that its destruction may signal the beginning of the capture of the Glushkivsky district.
In addition, Russian propagandist Roman Alyokhin also claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are shelling the town of Zvane and plan to seize a section of the Glushkivsky district along the Seim River.
This is reported by other propaganda resources. The Russians claim that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently striking the bridge in Zvane.
It is worth reminding that a military commandant's office was established in the Kursk region on the territory controlled by Ukraine. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. According to Syrskyi, the Armed Forces of Ukraine control 82 settlements and continue to move forward by 35 kilometers, covering over a thousand square kilometers of the territory of the Russian Federation.
