The Government of Ukraine has allocated an additional 15 billion hryvnias to support internally displaced persons through the 'eRecovery' program. This was reported by the head of the Parliamentary Committee Olena Shuliak.
According to the updated criteria of the program, compensation can only be received by those displaced persons who are officially registered as IDPs and have lost the only housing that was in their ownership. An important condition is the absence of any other registered residential property, except for temporarily occupied territories or areas of active hostilities.
Priority in payments will be given to owners of completely destroyed housing. Compensation for damaged housing will be considered if funds are available in the program's budget.
The expansion of funding does not apply to other citizens who do not have the status of internally displaced persons.
Previously, the requirements for real estate under the 'eOselya' program were changed.
