Trump stated that these indicators are a result of Biden's administration, without providing additional explanations.
Trump's trade adviser Peter Navarro claimed that the decline was caused by an adequate stockpile before the introduction of new tariffs, although Trump had previously insisted that tariffs do not affect the economy.
Trump's approval rating is declining: according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, 42% of Americans approve of his activities, while 53% do not. Approval of his economic policies has also decreased.
Economists warn of an impending recession due to the trade war initiated by Trump's administration.
Democrat Hakeem Jeffries denied Trump's accusations, emphasizing that it is his failed economy, not Biden's.
At a cabinet meeting, Trump's aides took turns praising his economic policies, assuring that the country is progressing at the right pace.
Analyzing the material, one can conclude that Trump is constantly looking for reasons for the negative economic indicators in the previous Biden administration. This can be perceived as a positive context for Democrats, who may use this situation in the upcoming elections.
