Auchan, Metro, and Varus have set new prices for cereals: how much buckwheat, rice, and pasta cost.


The Minfin portal compared prices for cereals and pasta in supermarkets. It turned out that prices for these products can vary in different stores.
Monitoring data from retail networks showed that in February this year, the prices for buckwheat and pasta remained approximately at the same level, while the prices for rice showed somewhat different dynamics.
Buckwheat
The average price for buckwheat amounted to 33.07 UAH per kilogram. This is almost the same as in January this year (33.02 UAH). This product was the most stable, with a price increase of 0.15%. The cheapest buckwheat in the Auchan chain costs 27.90 UAH, and the most expensive - in Megamarket, 40.00 UAH per kilogram.
Rice
Prices for round rice decreased from 69.27 UAH to 67.17 UAH per kilogram, which is a decrease of 3.03%. Prices for long-grain and steamed rice remained the same as in January - 58.20 and 67.17 UAH per kilogram, respectively. The price difference for round rice is noticeable: from 50.70 UAH in Metro to 90.40 UAH in Auchan.
Pasta 'Pіr'ya'
The average price for pasta decreased from 32.93 UAH in January to 32.70 UAH. The cheapest pasta can be bought in the Metro chain for 27.90 UAH, while the most expensive - in Auchan for 38.90 UAH.
The data shows that prices for cereals and pasta can vary in different supermarkets, so it is worth comparing prices before making a purchase.
