In turn, Ukrainian forces launched a counterattack south of Korenevo towards Tolstyi Luh, Liubymivka, Zelenyi Shliah, and Nyzhniy Klyn, as well as in the area of Ruska Konoplianka south of Sudzha.
It is also noted that Russian troops continued their advance northeast of Kharkiv in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia, but so far there have been no confirmed changes near the front line. Due to the Russian forces' advance on Kupiansk, Ukrainian authorities evacuated civilians from this city and adjacent areas.
In Luhansk Oblast, Russian forces also continued attacks along the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line. Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops conducted counterattacks on various directions near Kupiansk and Svatove.
In Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces advanced southeast of Siversk in the area of Bilohorivka, but did not achieve success. Ukrainian forces, in turn, reclaimed some positions in Toretsk and Pokrovsk.
