"Winter Package": Nordic-Baltic Eight countries to provide significant aid to Ukraine.

NB8 Ministers signed an aid package for Ukraine worth 44 million euros
The foreign ministers of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) countries signed an agreement to provide aid to Ukraine amounting to 44 million euros. These funds will be used for the purchase of generators and solar panels, Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard announced during a joint briefing with ministers from other Nordic-Baltic Eight countries held in Odesa. This was reported by Ukrinform.
Maria Malmer Stenergard emphasized that NB8 are partners from the north and the Baltic region, and promised to continue supporting Ukraine. She stated: "We are your Nordic-Baltic partners and will always support you. We will also help you strengthen air defenses and develop the economy."
The Swedish Foreign Minister added that it was Sweden that invested the most in this aid package - 28 million euros. In total, since the beginning of the war, Sweden has provided Ukraine with about 5 billion euros in aid.
Maria Malmer Stenergard emphasized that Sweden supports the idea of EU integration for Ukraine. She stated: "We want to see Ukraine as a member of the EU. We strive for a just peace, and without Ukraine, it is impossible."
