Zelensky said the conditions under which peace can realistically be achieved with Putin in 2025.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, believes that the war with Russia in Ukraine could end by 2025. He also expressed his readiness for negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. He shared this in an interview with British television channel ITV News.
Zelensky believes that to achieve this goal, sanctions must be strengthened and security guarantees must be provided to Ukraine. He emphasized the need for strong support from Western partners to compel Putin to end the conflict. Zelensky believes that the conditions are now ripe for achieving this goal, and Donald Trump also wishes for a quick end to the confrontation. The President of Ukraine noted that sanctions have already impacted the Russian economy, but they need to be even stronger to force Russia to change its policy.
Zelensky also stated that he is ready for negotiations with Putin if the US and Europe support Ukraine and guarantee its security. He indicated that he is open to any format of negotiations as long as he is assured of support and security.
