Law on the deprivation of state awards for the propaganda of the aggressor state
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a law that allows for the deprivation of state awards from individuals engaged in the propaganda of the aggressor state or committing other illegal acts against Ukraine. The new legislative changes expand the scope of the Criminal Code and other regulatory acts, introducing the deprivation of state awards as an additional type of punishment. An important aspect of this law is that it applies not only to the violator himself but also to his relatives, who also lose benefits and privileges associated with state awards. The law was elaborated and adopted with significant support in the parliament, receiving votes from 283 members of parliament.
