Negotiations and Sanctions: Important Steps of the President

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced important negotiations with international partners and the introduction of new sanctions against Russian figures in his address on July 2, 2025, after 1225 days of war.

During a meeting with entrepreneurs of the American Chamber of Commerce, Zelensky emphasized the importance of leveraging influence to ensure American support for Ukraine and supported the idea of air defense for Ukraine as a tool for protecting companies operating in the state.

New Agreements and Discussions with the European Union and Egypt

The President received reports from the Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarding cooperation with the USA in the field of defense. Agreements for the six-month presidency of Denmark in arms production and joint production with other partners, as well as concerning Ukrainian interceptor drones, are also being discussed.

Zelensky had an important conversation with the President of Egypt and agreed on support and cooperation to expedite the end of the war. The President also reported on the continuation of work regarding individuals linked to Russia and reminded that new Ukrainian sanctions would be implemented.
