Protection of the hub for aid to Ukraine: Norway will send its F-35s and NASAMS systems to Poland.

Norway has sent its F-35 fighter jets and NASAMS air defense systems to Poland to protect the hub through which aid for Ukraine is passing. 100 Norwegian soldiers will also be stationed in Poland to ensure the security of the transportation of equipment to Ukraine.
'Poland is doing everything possible to ensure the transportation of both civilian and military materials to Ukraine. The airport in Rzeszów-Jasionka plays a key role in medical evacuation, and Norway is providing its assistance,' said Gram.
The Minister also noted that Ukraine needs military equipment, and Poland is a key transportation hub for this. 'Norway is involved in joint efforts to ensure that aid reaches Ukraine,' he added.
Polish Minister of Defense Wojciech Konieczny expressed his gratitude to the Norwegians for this support. 'From December, we will be more firmly protecting our borders. Four Norwegian F-35s and their air defense will protect our space and NATO's eastern flank. A big thank you to our allies from Norway!' he wrote on social media.
NATO's mission at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport will last until the Easter holidays next year.
