In the week since the launch of the e-permit for weapons in the 'Diia' app, over 200 thousand permits have been issued.

During the first week after the launch of the digital weapon permit in the 'Diia' app, Ukrainians have issued over 200 thousand such documents. This has been reported by 'Glavkom' referencing information from the 'Diia' portal.

It is noted that these are impressive results in just a week of the service's operation.

According to Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, nearly half of Ukrainians who own registered weapons have already used the digital permit in the 'Diia' app.

Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized that his agency, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, plans to further digitize services for weapon owners.

As a reminder, since March 10, a digital weapon permit has been available in the 'Diia' app. With a few clicks, one can generate an extract from the Unified State Register of Weapons and receive notifications about the expiration of the permit.

Regarding the Unified State Register of Weapons, it started its work on June 23, 2023, and was later integrated with the 'Diia' app.
