A Southwest Airlines jet nearly collided with a private plane while landing at Midway Airport in Illinois. The pilots managed to avoid tragedy by executing a go-around. This was reported by ABC 7 Chicago.
The video shows the jet landing, but during this, a private plane from Flexjet comes into its path. The pilots of Southwest 2504 aborted the landing and performed a go-around to avoid tragedy.
No information about injuries has been reported. The investigation is being handled by the Federal Aviation Administration, the National Transportation Safety Board, and Southwest Airlines. All details of the incident will be clarified.
