WP: European allies consider territorial exchange for security guarantees for Ukraine.

According to the Washington Post, European allies of Ukraine are increasingly coming to the belief that resolving the conflict with Russia is only possible through negotiations with Kiev involving territorial concessions.
Conditions for ending hostilities along the contact line are being discussed in exchange for security guarantees from the West. Some options include the presence of European troops on Ukrainian territory or arms deliveries, although Russia currently considers these proposals unacceptable.
Diplomats claim that discussions on territorial concessions are no longer met with as much outrage as before. They do not refer to this as 'land for peace' but as 'land for the security of Ukraine'.
I think everyone more or less has come to this conclusion, but it's difficult to talk about this publicly because it would mean we'd be rewarding aggression. - cited by the WP the former French Ambassador to Washington, Gérard Araud.
The newspaper reports that European politicians are currently increasing their support for Ukraine to ensure it has leverage during future negotiations. They are also concerned about unforeseen decisions by the new Trump administration regarding the agreement.
During a dinner of European leaders in Budapest last week, support for Ukraine and options for continuing financing in case of a reduction in US aid were discussed. According to confidential information, negotiations on the situation are still ongoing through diplomatic channels.
Survey results
According to a survey by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology, 58% of Ukrainians believe that Kiev should not sacrifice any territory under any circumstances. Meanwhile, 32% are willing to make some concessions to reach a peaceful agreement.
