As of the morning of February 26, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian occupiers have suffered certain losses. This information was revealed by the portal 'G1' referring to the General Staff's social media.
Russia's losses as of February 26, 2025
According to the General Staff, Russia has suffered the following losses in the war against Ukraine:
- personnel - approximately 870,700 (+1,170) persons,
- tanks - 10,201 (+19) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 21,183 (+15) units,
- artillery systems - 23,686 (+34) units,
- missile strike systems - 1,299 (+0) units,
- air defense systems - 1,085 (+2) units,
- airplanes - 370 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 331 (+0) units,
- tactical-level drones - 26,961 (+194) units,
- cruise missiles - 3,064 (+0) units,
- ships / vessels - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 38,702 (+120) units,
- special equipment - 3,759 (+0) units.
Occupants' fleet activity as of February 26
- In the Black Sea, enemy ships are absent.
- In the Sea of Azov, enemy ships are absent.
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are four enemy ships, three of which are carriers of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles, totaling up to 26 missiles.
During the last day, two vessels passed through the Kerch Strait, moving to the Sea of Azov from the Bosporus Strait. No ship passed in either direction at the Suis An Sea.
Ukraine continues to be in a full-scale war for the 1,099th day.
