For the first time in seven years, Mbappe has gone without a goal contribution in five consecutive matches.


The forward of Real Madrid and the French national football team, Kylian Mbappe, has for the first Time since 2018 failed to make any goal contribution in five consecutive official matches at the club level. According to OptaJean, Mbappe did not score in La Liga matches against Valencia and Alaves, in the semi-final of the Copa del Rey against Real Sociedad, as well as in both quarter-final matches of the Champions League against Arsenal.
The last time such a streak occurred for the Frenchman was in the spring of 2018, when he was playing for PSG and could not score or provide assists in five consecutive matches in Ligue 1 and the French Cup. From April 22 until the end of the season, he did not score or provide assists in matches against Bordeaux, Guingamp, Amiens, Rennes, and Les Herbiers in the French Cup final.
Despite the recent downturn, in the current Spanish league season, Mbappe remains one of the top scorers: he has 22 goals in 29 matches. He is in second place on the list of top scorers, trailing only Robert Lewandowski, who has 25 goals.

Real Madrid - Arsenal 1:2 (1:5 on aggregate)

Inter Milan drew with Bayern 2:2 in the second leg and secured an overall victory with a score of 4:3 on aggregate. In the first match, Inter achieved a narrow victory of 2:1, giving them an advantage before the home match.

The first matches of the semi-finals will take place on April 29 and 30, 2025, and the second legs on May 6 and 7, 2025. The Champions League final is scheduled for May 31, 2025, at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
In the current season, Kylian Mbappe failed to score in five consecutive matches. The last time this happened to the Frenchman was in 2018 when he played for PSG. Despite this, Mbappe remains one of the top scorers in the current Spanish La Liga season.
