The Israeli embassy in Copenhagen is located in the same quarter as the embassies and consulates of Romania, Thailand, Iran, and Turkey. The explosions near the institution occurred when Iran launched a missile strike on Israel on October 1. Israeli military officials claim that about 180 rockets were launched, most of which were intercepted.
It is known that Iran launched 200 ballistic missiles at the territory of Israel. The US Secretary of State emphasized that Iran's attack on Israel was "absolutely unacceptable." According to him, Tehran's actions must be condemned by the whole world.
In turn, Israel warned Iran "transparently" of its intention to respond to any shelling of its territory and directly hit nuclear or oil facilities.
By the way, on the night of October 2, the Israeli Defense Forces IDF carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in the southern suburbs of Beirut in response to Iran's missile attack on Israel.
Earlier, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that Tehran would face serious consequences for a massive missile attack on Israel.
