In Ukraine, the school meal program will be expanded.

The state budget for next year allocates 2.9 billion hryvnias for free hot meals for primary school students starting in 2025.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced that the funds will be distributed among local communities in the form of a state subsidy.
Currently, the ministry is working on updating the procedure for using the subsidy, taking into account last year’s experience. A resolution on this is planned to be adopted in December so that the meal program can be launched in 2025.
The President of Ukraine proposes to expand the program to include not only students in grades 1-4 but also those in grades 5-11(12).
The Ministry of Education and Science emphasizes the importance of this initiative in creating equal opportunities for all children. The expanded program is planned to be launched in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian schools will reduce mandatory subjects.
It is also known when Ukrainian students will have their spring break.
