The Law 'On Pre-school Education' Has Come into Effect in Ukraine.


The Law on Pre-school Education will come into effect on January 1, 2025
From January 1, 2025, the Law of Ukraine 'On Pre-school Education' will come into effect. This is an important event for improving the quality of pre-school education in our country, reported the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
'The innovations relate to many areas. The workload for educators will be optimized, which will allow for an increase in their salaries and improve working conditions. Parents will have more opportunities due to improved territorial accessibility of preschool institutions and the ability to choose forms of education', - the department explained.
It has been noted that new types of educational activity organization will be introduced into the education system, such as mobile, family, and mini-kindergartens, which will allow for covering more children. There will also be a variety of groups in kindergartens - by age, mixed-age, inclusive, and special groups, with different educational programs.
'For government authorities, the law establishes obligations to ensure resources and fair payment for educators, which will create conditions for effective work in the field of pre-school education', - emphasized the ministry.
As before, preschool institutions will be able to receive funds from the state and local budgets, payments from founders, payments for educational and additional services, income from rentals, grants, charitable assistance, and other legitimate sources.
