Five children were injured by an ammunition explosion in Mariupol, which is temporarily occupied. Three of them are in serious condition. This information was provided by the Mariupol City Council.
The incident occurred in the Left Bank district of the city. This was reported by the leader of the so-called "DNR" Pushilin.
It is reported that three girls aged 10 and 13 and two boys aged 10 and 14 were injured by the explosion. Three children are in serious condition, two are in moderate condition.
"In the occupied city, there were repeated cases of detonation on explosive devices. They were found in playgrounds, yards, beaches, and even in damaged apartments. The situation is most acute in the Left Bank district of the city. The Russians particularly actively shelled it, but they could not conduct demining during the two years of occupation. For example, peaceful Mariupol residents are suffering from this again," added the city council.
Recall that the occupiers in Mariupol plan to build 3,500 new apartments, which will be sold at prices inaccessible to local residents.
In addition, in Mariupol, the occupiers plan a process of recognizing 20,000 properties as ownerless.
As reported, the Russians at their events show trams from Mariupol that were shot during the blockade of the city.
In Mariupol, a monument to Russian Admiral Fyodor Ushakov was also erected; before that, the occupiers erected a monument to Alexander Nevsky. In different parts of the city, memorial signs "heroes of the special military operation" who killed peaceful Mariupol residents are being installed.
