The U-17 youth team of Ukraine achieved an important victory over Slovakia.


The U-17 youth team of Ukraine finished its participation in the second qualifying round of Euro-2025. The Ukrainians lost to Croatia and Italy and had no chance to advance to the final tournament. However, in the match against Slovakia, they had the opportunity to maintain their place in League A for the first qualifying round of Euro-2027 (U-19). The goal for the Ukrainians was scored by Lusin in the 90th minute, bringing them a victory with a score of 1:0.
Ukrainian footballers finished the mini-tournament with a victory and finished third in the group, allowing them to hold the first qualifying round of Euro-2027 (U-19) in League A. The U-20 youth team of Ukraine also held a friendly match against Norway as part of a training camp.
