Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a new train to Europe: prices and schedule.

Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a new train Kyiv-Budapest with prices starting from 2800 hryvnias
Ukrzaliznytsia reports that it has started daily services for the train from Kyiv to Budapest. This was announced by the company's press service. The train consists of standard sleeping cars, including compartments for four people and a luxury compartment for two. 'The long-awaited route in cooperation with Hungarian railways will start operating on December 15!' - the message states.
According to the schedule, the train will depart from Kyiv daily at 10:16 AM and will arrive in Budapest at 06:00 the next morning. The return trip will leave Budapest at 22:40 and arrive in Kyiv the evening before at 19:11.
The train schedule was designed considering convenient transfers for passengers to trains heading to Vienna (the journey will take 3 hours), Salzburg, Munich, Innsbruck, Zurich, as well as towards Romania, Slovenia, and other European countries. Additionally, Budapest airport has adapted many flights to the schedule of the Ukrainian train.
'One of the biggest advantages of this train is the comfortable sleeping cars (compartments and luxury), which are convenient and familiar for Ukrainian passengers: no triple-tier compartments, ample space for luggage, and a comfortable journey' - emphasized the representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia.
The first flight is planned for December 15. Tickets are already available in the mobile app and on the official website of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Let us remind you that the Kyiv electric train will resume night services.
