Ukrenergo urgently addresses Ukrainians due to the weather.

Ukrenergo urges citizens to use electricity wisely due to the approaching cold
Ukrenergo announces the imminent significant drop in temperatures in Ukraine over the coming days and urges citizens to use electricity wisely. This is especially important considering that the Ukrainian energy system is still recovering from enemy attacks last year.
According to experts, there is usually a significant increase in electricity consumption in freezing weather. To prevent electricity shortages, specialists recommend following some simple but effective measures.
Avoid simultaneous use of multiple powerful electrical appliances during peak hours - in the morning and evening. Turn off unnecessary lighting in both homes and workplaces.
Ukrenergo experts emphasize the need to unplug unused electrical appliances from the network, as even in standby mode they consume energy.
When using an electric kettle, it's better to heat only the necessary amount of water, which allows you to save electricity and aligns with medical recommendations to avoid boiling water multiple times.
The most energy-consuming appliances are best used after 11:00 PM, when the lowest electricity consumption is observed. It is also advisable to avoid charging devices longer than necessary for a full battery charge and to favor energy-saving LED lamps, which consume less energy compared to traditional incandescent lamps.
Ukrenergo emphasizes that rational use of electricity not only contributes to the stability of the country's energy system but also helps consumers save their own money.
