Military personnel from North Korea have arrived in the Kursk region, receiving orders not to surrender. This was reported by a soldier from the 84th Special Forces Tactical Group, Greek.

Combat actions involving North Korean troops have serious consequences for their families. If North Korea learns about any surrender, relatives may face repression. Therefore, a North Korean who blew himself up during a meeting with Ukrainian soldiers chose suicide over captivity.

The detained North Koreans were handed over as prisoners, but their weapons and grenades were immediately confiscated. Additionally, during the evacuation of the wounded Korean, Russian drones were actively observing him.

According to data from The New York Times, after the losses in Kursk, North Korean troops were withdrawn from the combat zone for several weeks. Also, over the past three months, the number of North Korean troops has decreased by half.

The Ukrainian brigade destroyed the commander of the North Korean troops, and a Chinese radio, grenades, and weapons were found with him. Experts believe that the North Korean troops were able to carry such a heavy load due to their high level of training.

The death toll of North Koreans in Kursk stands at 4,000. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this at the World Economic Forum.

Video footage showed captured North Korean soldiers who spoke about the heavy losses of their units in Kursk and that they did not know who they were actually fighting against.

According to analysts, if North Korean troops continue to suffer losses, more than half of them may be killed or wounded by April 2025.
