Ukrainian films at the Riga Film Festival won the main prizes.


Olha Zhurba's film "Songs of the Land That Burns Slowly" won at the Riga Film Festival. This documentary was created in collaboration with Denmark, Sweden, and France. The festival jury highly praised the work, noting that it is a film that shows the harsh reality of war with resilience and dignity.
At the same festival, Ukrainian films also received an award. In the short film category, Oleksiy Radynskyi's work "Where Russia Ends" won. The jury noted that this film is an important work on archive restoration and collective memory.
All the festival winners were highly praised for their work and were distinguished in their categories. The results of the Riga Film Festival highlight talented Ukrainian directors and their ability to create meaningful films.
