Ukrainian teams disappointed again in European cups
Donetsk Shakhtar and Kyiv Dynamo again failed to rectify their position in European cups. Shakhtar lost at home to Bayern with a score of 1:5, despite opening the scoring first. Dynamo also lost in Spain to Real Sociedad with a score of 0:3.

Before starting their journey in European cups, teams ranked 23rd and below will have to go through the qualification round.
It is worth noting that Kyiv Dynamo suffered their sixth consecutive defeat in the Europa League. In this match, the players under Oleksandr Shovkovskyi lost with a score of 0:3 to Real Sociedad.
