Ukrainian veterans have taken to the streets in Washington, D.C. and other cities across the US to express their dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump and his administration. This information was reported by 'Glavcom' referencing Newsweek.
Protesters are opposing the social benefits proposed by the Trump administration, cuts to departments designated for veterans, pardons for those guilty of the January 6 insurrection, and limited medical services for veterans.

The 'NowDC' march was organized by the Fourteenth Now movement. Its participants demand the removal of Trump from the presidency because his actions during the events of January 6, 2021, can be considered conspiracy.
An online call for protests is circulating, urging citizens to stand against cuts to veteran services near the offices of all legislative bodies in every state.
These protests are another manifestation of dissatisfaction with Trump's policy, which involves significant cuts to federal spending, resulting in massive layoffs and the dissolution of certain government agencies.
In Washington, protesters will also express their opposition to the layoffs of veterans who held government positions. Such measures are being implemented by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) led by Elon Musk.
Organizers of the march state that the date of the protests is symbolic as it corresponds with Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution. This section stipulates that a person who violated the law after taking an oath by participating in a conspiracy or insurrection cannot hold office. Critics of Trump have long accused him of inciting the insurrection at the Capitol in 2021, although Trump denies these accusations.
The march also aims to support veterans who were laid off during Trump's presidency. It is known that after he returned to the White House, about 2,500 employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs lost their jobs. It is projected that this year, layoffs in this department will exceed 80,000, according to a leaked agency memo obtained by Military.com.
Protest organizers are calling for participation from not only veterans but also other citizens, including those who support Ukraine in its war with Russia, federal employees who may lose their jobs, and people who fear social benefit cuts.

Among the participants of the event will be Jessica Denson, founder of Fourteenth Now, a former assistant to Trump who filed a lawsuit against his campaign in 2016. She claims that the non-disclosure agreements she signed were used as a means of pressure to force her to silence regarding sexual and verbal harassment by Trump.
Earlier, we reported that US President Donald Trump announced that more information about the ceasefire in Ukraine would be released soon. Trump himself made this statement during an interview with journalist Cheryl Atkinson.
Trump stated that the US has already reached an agreement with Ukraine and is negotiating with Russia. According to the American president, everything is going well at the moment, but the final situation will become clear on March 17.
