In Poland, a group of saboteurs from the Russian Federation and Belarus were neutralized: what they planned to do.

Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski reported that the country's special services detected a group of saboteurs from Russia and Belarus who planned to steal information from the system of state authorities and local self-government in Poland for blackmail purposes. This is reported by Rzeczpospolita.
Belarusian and Russian cybersecurity services in Poland had a specific goal: to extort information, lead to individual and institutional blackmail, and de facto conduct cyber warfare, Gawkowski said.
The group of saboteurs had specific targets in Poland. According to the minister, Polish institutions were warned by the special services, so the data theft was avoided.
By the way, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating alleged hacking attempts by Iran on an associate of Donald Trump and representatives of the Biden-Harris campaign.
Three Biden-Harris campaign staffers received phishing emails that appeared legitimate but could have given the attacker access to the recipients' correspondence, sources told the publication. Investigators have not yet found evidence that these hacking attempts were successful, they added.
