The government of North Macedonia has declared a seven-day mourning period following a fire in the town of Kocani that resulted in the deaths of 59 people. According to The Guardian, 155 individuals were also injured and are currently in hospitals. As part of the investigation into this tragedy, 10 people have already been detained, including officials who issued the nightclub's license.

The tragedy occurred in the early hours of March 16, at 03:00 local Time, during a performance by the hip-hop duo ADN at the Pulse nightclub in Kocani. The fire is believed to have been caused by the use of pyrotechnic devices.

In the USA, the northwest region also faced a severe storm with strong winds and heavy rains. About half a million homes were left without electricity, and fallen trees resulted in one death. This information was released by the Associated Press.

In Lynwood (Washington), a woman died when a large tree fell on a homeless camp. In Seattle, a tree fell on a car, temporarily trapping a person inside, but they are now in stable condition. In Issaquah, a 70-year-old tree fell on a house where a woman resides. She reported that at first she thought a wall was collapsing.

The weather forecasting center warned of heavy rainfall on Friday, expecting 30-40 centimeters of rain in northern California and the southwestern region of Oregon. The peak of the bad weather occurred on Thursday.
