A General Kirilov who used chemical weapons against the Armed Forces of Ukraine was blown up in Moscow.


An explosion in Moscow claimed the life of the chief of radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the RF
In the capital of Russia, an event occurred that resulted in the death of two servicemen of the RF. Of particular importance among the dead is Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov, who headed the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the Armed Forces of the RF.
This was reported by sources from Russian Telegram channels.
According to preliminary data, when two men, including General Kirilov, approached the doors of a residential building, an explosive device was triggered. The blast wave shattered glass in the building and damaged three cars parked nearby.
Lieutenant General Kirilov died at the scene, while his companion later died from injuries in the hospital. Experts are investigating the version that the explosive device was attached to a scooter and could have been triggered remotely.
Igor Kirilov has headed the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian Armed Forces since 2017. He was responsible for the development and use of heavy flamethrower systems, such as the TOS-2 'Tosochka', and for the use of chemical weapons against the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the southern and eastern directions.
Kirilov was known for his statements about the activities of foreign biolabs and their involvement in the spread of infectious diseases. He claimed that components of biological weapons were being developed in Ukraine and that the Pentagon was conducting dangerous experiments on Ukrainians.
Lieutenant General Kirilov was on the list of individuals subjected to international sanctions for their role in Russia's war against Ukraine.
Earlier, a designer of the X-59 and X-69 missiles, Mikhail Shatsky, was eliminated in Russia.
