The Ministry of Energy responded whether Ukraine will return to power outage schedules.

Energy Minister Mykola Kolesnyk spoke about the possible return of Ukraine to power outage schedules.
He provided this information during a telethon.
Recently, power outages in Ukraine have stopped, but many citizens are interested in how long this will last and when stabilization outages might start again.
Energy experts believe that it is currently incorrect to make predictions about returning to outage schedules. One of the reasons is the inability to predict the duration of the heatwave.
According to Kolesnyk, the abnormal heatwave leads to increased electricity consumption and affects the stability of the power system. This trend was observed in July.
“At the moment, it is incorrect to make such predictions, because we do not know how prolonged this heatwave will be and where it will cover, whether it will be across the entire territory of Ukraine or limited to certain areas and how long it will last,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Energy.
Kolesnyk also emphasized the importance of electricity consumption and urged citizens to save electricity, especially during peak hours - from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00.
“This will help balance the power system. Therefore, we call for responsible consumption, and energy workers are doing everything possible to keep the system running stably,” he added.
Ukrenergo also made a statement about electricity consumption.
