A virtual museum of Roman Shukhevych has opened in Lviv.

Presentation of the virtual museum of the Commander-in-Chief of the UPA Roman Shukhevych
Today, March 7, the presentation of the virtual museum of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) Roman Shukhevych took place at the Lviv Historical Museum. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing 'Espreso. West'.
Thanks to the virtual format, all visitors to the Lviv Historical Museum's website can familiarize themselves with the house where the last refuge of the Commander-in-Chief of the UPA - Roman Shukhevych - was located. It is still unknown when the real museum will be restored.
“It is very important that it [the museum] can be seen not only in Ukraine, in Lviv, but all over the world. Many Ukrainians live abroad and have not had the opportunity to see what the Roman Shukhevych museum looks like. Now such an opportunity has appeared,” said Maria Trylyovska (Shukhevych), daughter of the general, during the presentation.
We remind you that on January 1, 2024, due to debris from Russian drones hitting the museum of Roman Shukhevych in Lviv, a fire occurred, after which the building was completely destroyed.
According to the assessment of the Lviv Organization of Veterans of Afghanistan, the damages from the destruction of the Shukhevych museum amounted to 2 million 258 thousand UAH, but this includes the cost of the building itself.
The most valuable exhibits had already been moved by the museum staff to a safe place at the beginning of the Russian aggression. The broken piano that the Commander-in-Chief of the UPA played was also found under the rubble after the attack. The decision of the museum workers to leave this burnt instrument is considered a reflection on the Russian aggression.
