The entertainment industry in Hollywood is urging the government to maintain rules regarding artificial intelligence (AI), despite calls from actors and other industry workers for a relaxation of these rules. This is reported by 'Glavcom' citing CBS News.

More than 420 workers from the Hollywood industry, including actress Natasha Lyonne and actors such as Ben Stiller, Bette Midler, Aubrey Plaza, Ava DuVernay, Paul Simon, Mark Ruffalo, and others, have signed an open letter urging the government to support copyright laws for AI.

The open letter states that companies OpenAI and Google recently proposed to the government to remove AI restrictions in the area of copyright protection. This group of actors believes that relaxing such regulations could impact the creative industries. Several artists have also expressed concern about the possible effects of AI on their work.

Recently, Turkey's Ministry of Finance used artificial intelligence to identify specialists who do not pay taxes, including astrologers and numerologists.

The Italian newspaper Il Foglio announced that it has published an article fully created by artificial intelligence for the first Time in the world. According to Il Foglio's editor Claudio Cerasa, this was part of a journalistic experiment demonstrating the impact of AI on journalism. Journalists participated in creating the publication by compiling questions for artificial intelligence and reading the answers.
