Standing for the defense of Ukraine since the first days of the war. Let us remember Boris Shvyryaev.

Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of the victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Boris Shvyryaev.
According to the Lviv City Council, on November 23, 2024, the heart rhythm of Boris Shvyryaev, a 29-year-old defender from Lviv Region, stopped.
Boris was born on November 18, 1995, in Lviv and studied at the former Secondary School No. 89 (now - Sykhiv Lyceum of the Lviv City Council).
After finishing his studies, he worked in retail. He also had a passion for cars, and his family described him as cheerful, always smiling, and sociable.
With the start of the Russian invasion, he decided to defend his homeland from Russian invaders. Boris was part of combat operations against the aggressor on the eastern front. He joined the 214th separate special battalion OPFOR and later moved to the 33rd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The burial ceremony took place on December 3, 2024, at the Garrison Church of Saints Peter and Paul, and he was buried at Lychakiv Cemetery.
Boris Shvyryaev was survived by his parents, two brothers, an aunt, and nephews.
'Glavkom' also joins in a minute of silence to honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the fight for their homeland. We remember those who perished as a result of the actions of Russian invaders, light candles in memory, and bow our heads in sorrow during the nationwide minute of silence. We honor the memory of all citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the country - military, civilians, and children, all those who died as a result of the Russian occupation and attacks by hostile forces on Ukrainian cities and villages.
