It became known how much prize money Ukrainian biathletes earned in the World Cup season.

In the 2024/25 season, the Ukrainian national biathlon team earned 233,900 euros in prize money at the World Cup stages and the World Championship. The Ukrainian team finished eighth in the Nations Cup standings and will receive a quota for five biathletes in the individual races of the World Cup next season.

In the 2024/25 season, the Ukrainian biathlon team won its first medal in the World Cup - bronze in the men's relay.

Overall, during the season, biathletes competed in the World Cup stages, IBU Cup, World Championship, and European Championship. For high results in each race, athletes received points and medals, as well as prize money. The prize pool for the season was 9,366,700 euros.

Distribution of prizes in the 2024/25 season:

World Cup (per race):

• Individual races: 101,500 euros
• Relays (classic and mixed): 94,000 euros
• Single mixed: 47,000 euros

World Championship (per race):

• Individual races: 144,250 euros
• Relays (classic and mixed): 127,000 euros
• Single mixed: 63,500 euros

In the World Cup stages and World Championships, the finishes of biathletes in the top-30 of individual races and the top-8 in relays were taken into account. The leaders of the standings, the top-10 of the overall World Cup standings, and the top-10 of the Nations Cup were paid a separate amount.

The best result of the season in individual World Cup races for Ukrainian biathletes was fourth place. It was achieved by Yulia Dzhima in the sprint in Annecy, Dmytro Pidruchnyi in the sprint in Oberhof, and Vitaliy Mandzin in the short individual race in Kontiolahti.

In the 2024/25 season, the Ukrainian biathlon team earned 233,900 euros in prize money, of which 18,000 for each team for finishing in eighth place in the Nations Cup. This is twice as much as in the previous season.

The largest amount of prize money in the 2024/25 season among Ukrainians was earned by Dmytro Pidruchnyi - 50,600 euros. Two other biathletes, Vitaliy Mandzin and Anton Dudchenko, received over 20,000 euros each.

Yulia Dzhima became the leader among women in prize money in the 2024/25 season, earning 47,500 euros. In addition to her, five other female biathletes received prize money.
