Intercepted radio conversations of Russians about the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war
The CNN channel obtained access to intercepted radio conversations of Russians, which demonstrate the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war. The information was spread by the portal 'Glavkom' referring to CNN.
The intercepted conversations were transmitted by an officer of the Ukrainian intelligence. According to the television channel, the timestamps in the conversations correspond to the Time of execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war in November 2024 in the eastern Zaporizhia region, which was recorded by a drone.
Subscribe to Glavkom's channel on TelegramThe video shows six soldiers lying face down on the ground, then gunfire occurs and one of them is evacuated. The call signs 'Arta' and 'Bilyi' are used to identify the Russian soldiers.
CNN recorded that the Russian commander gives orders to kill six times. His words were conveyed as follows: 'Ask who the commander is. Take the commander prisoner and kill everyone else. Are you doing this? Take the commander prisoner, fuck the others. That's it. Take the senior, get rid of the others.'
The commander often instructs his group to eliminate problems that are difficult to respond to. The Russian soldier under the call sign 'Arta' notes that they failed to find the Ukrainian commander, only the 'senior'.
The footage revealed by CNN from the drone confirms the radio conversations and events at the site of the execution. The video shows a soldier in Russian uniform shooting at a Ukrainian military and the Russian commander clarifying whether the killing is completed.
As a result of this tragedy, the Ukrainian side has launched an investigation. This case represents yet another violation of international norms of war by the Russian occupiers when they shoot prisoners of war.
After analyzing the intercepted radio conversations, it becomes clear the cruel and lawless attitude of the Russian commander. This case underscores the necessity of holding those responsible accountable for war crimes.
