How many Russians are ready to fight against Ukraine for money: survey results.

More than 7 million Russians are ready to fight against Ukraine
According to research by the European Center for Analysis and Strategy (CASE), over seven million Russian men eligible for military service are potentially ready to participate in the war against Ukraine. The survey was conducted among nearly 2,000 people in seven regional centers of the Russian Federation.
The study showed that 29.6% of Russians consider the possibility of voluntarily joining the army by signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense – excluding those who have already participated in the war. 13.2% are ready to fight against Ukraine 'right now' without additional incentives, while 16.4% – only if there are such incentives as increased payments or support from relatives.
Economist Vladislav Inozemtsev noted that 28 million Russians have started to live better due to the war. He noted that these positive changes are mainly observed in medium and large cities, as well as among people with families.
Previously, 52% of Russians expressed support for peaceful negotiations with Ukraine and an end to the war. However, 36% of Russians believe that Russia should continue its war on Ukrainian territory.
In Moscow, where the consequences of Russia's aggression against Ukraine are less noticeable, the majority of people (58%) support the continuation of the war. In other regions, the majority of the population seeks peaceful negotiations.
According to experts, Russia has the capacity to finance the war against Ukraine for several more years, thanks to revenue from oil sales and ineffective sanction measures. However, the Russian economy has partially overheated. Every month, dictator Putin needs to additionally staff the army with 20,000 people due to the high level of casualties and injuries. Nevertheless, the country is experiencing almost full employment and wage growth.
